• This week’s Characteristic Trait for the Positivity Project is Perseverance.
• Discover your literary match! This month you’re challenged to check out and read a book without knowing the title or author beforehand, then write a breakup or proposal letter based on whether or not you like the book. Come by the library to take your book-matching quiz and start reading! You’ll earn the pink duck, candy, and a ticket to our Annoyingly Cute Blind Date with a Book Bash.
• Boys Track tryouts will be on February 3^rd after school from 4:00-5:15 PM. All boys wishing to try out must have a current physical and Rank One paperwork completed.

• Please join Achored4Life and LOTC in collecting empty egg cartons for the Coastal Bend Food Bank. Donation drop off will be Chief Chaney’s class (room 728) or counselor’s offices. Thank you for your support!

• Girls Track tryouts will be February 11th – 13th from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
• Teen Book Fest By the Bay 2025 is February 22nd! This free event is a great opportunity to meet the authors and illustrators of the books you’re reading. Come by the library for more information!
• 8th grade pre-registration parent meeting will be on February 4th at the JH cafeteria at 5:30pm. Student pre-registration will be through TX History classes February 5th and 6th.
