• This week’s Characteristic Trait for the Positivity Project is Social Intelligence.
• Discover your literary match! This month you’re challenged to check out and read a book without knowing the title or author beforehand, then write a breakup or proposal letter based on whether or not you like the book. Come by the library to take your book-matching quiz and start reading! You’ll earn the pink duck, candy, and a ticket to our Annoyingly Cute Blind Date with a Book Bash.
• Please join Achored4Life and LOTC in collecting empty egg cartons for the Coastal Bend Food Bank. Donation drop off will be Chief Chaney’s class (room 728) or counselor’s offices. Thank you for your support!
• Calling all Hornets 8th Graders!! Do you have school spirit? Do you love to cheer? Now, is your opportunity to show off your Hornet pride and try out for the Flour Bluff HIGH SCHOOL Cheerleading team. Pick up an application packet in the front office. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, March 4th @ 5:30pm, in the FBHS Teaching Theater. There are required forms that will be needed.  Tryouts will be held March 21, with the clinic happening March 17-20. CPH – GO HORNETS!
• Teen Book Fest By the Bay 2025 is February 22nd! This free event is a great opportunity to meet the authors and illustrators of the books you’re reading. Come by the library for more information!
